Girls: Any colour leotard and tights or socks, pink leather ballet shoes, dance skirts or tutu skirts are allowed.

Boys: Any solid color T-shirt and black dance pants or sweatpants, black leather ballet shoes.

RAD PRE PRIMARY & PRIMARY BALLET

Girls: RAD regulation short sleeve Marine Blue leotard with matching skirt, bare legs, RAD thin pink ankle socks, pink canvas or leather full sole ballet slippers.

Boys: RAD regulation Navy or Black shorts, RAD regulation T-shirt, white socks and black leather ballet shoes

RAD GRADE 1 – 8

Girls: RAD regulation navy blue leotard.

 

Pink soft ballet shoes in canvas or leather with either pink elastic or pink ribbons.

Grade 1 – 2 (pink ankle socks)

Grade 3-8 (flesh coloured ballet tights).

Character Uniform

Character skirts should be in black cotton material, with braiding which complements the colour of the leotard, and either circular in style or gathered at the waist, although the former is preferable. The hem of the skirt should be approximately 3 inches below the knee.

Character shoes must be worn from Grade 1 and should ideally be black canvas. These are available in two heel sizes - low heel in sizes 3 - 7 (including half sizes) and the Cuban in sizes 2 - 8 (including half sizes). The Cuban heel should ideally be worn from Grade 3 onwards.

Standard black leather Character shoes are acceptable as an alternative.

Pink elastic should be worn across the arch.

Girls: RAD regulation sleeveless leotard – black, navy blue or royal blue waistband (optional) - 2cm elastic, the same colour as leotard, tights – pink, head ribbons (optional) – velvet, in the same colour as the leotard, soft pointe shoes or soft ballet shoes – pink with ribbons and pointe shoes (pointe work section) – pink with ribbons.

Girls: EDS T-Shirt or Singlet Top, any coloured leggings or dance shorts, black jazz shoes, black or tan coloured tap shoes and dance skirts allowed.

Acrobatics – no shoes needed.

Boys: EDS T-shirt or Singlet Top, black dance pants or sweatpants, black leather jazz shoes and black tap shoes.

LONG HAIR MUST BE SECURELY TIED UP – Ponytails are allowed.

ADULT CLASSES

There is no strict dress code at the studio, simply wear clothes you feel comfortable exercising in. Each dance style requires slightly different footwear and clothing recommendations.
